Serena van der Woodsen

Then there's S. She's the girl every guy wants and every girl wants to be. If she wasn't so nice, we'd have to pull her pretty blond hair out. She's been everywhere and done everything : she has her own brand of perfume, she's starred in a movie, and one of S's body parts was even plastered all over the city. But being stunning isn't always easy. S somehow manages to get herself into all sorts of trouble, especially with her best friend B - is it really S's fault that B's boyfriend loves her so much?

Who says S didn't find him first....

Nate Archibald

With his gold streaked hair and glittering green eyes, N is the prince of all our dreams. He's the BMOC at Riverside prep, and has his pic of Ivy league universities. He also has two hottest best friends in town, B ans S. Two bad he can't figure out who he wants more. Poor guy. Maybe if he smoked up a little bit less, it would all become clear....

Gossip Girl creator to write new X-Men movie

Can Josh Schwartz transition from the world of writing teen soaps to an action-packed, comic-book-based feature movie? It looks like he’s going to get the chance.

According to this article from Variety, Twentieth Century Fox has picked the Gossip Girl creator to work on their newest X-Men movie called “X-Men: First Class.” The movie will feature younger versions of the characters seen in the films so far including Iceman, Rogue, Angel, Colossus, Jubilee and Shadowcat.

The article also states that the writing gig might also come with the ability to direct the film, but Schwartz has not confirmed whether or not he will take the reigns. Although he has had a good deal of small screen success, Schwartz has not broken into feature films yet, and this might be his chance to do so.

Many are speculating whether Schwartz was a good choice. I think that since the new movie will feature a younger cast, he was probably a good choice.

Just another teen T.V. show?

The young always have the same problem - how to rebel and conform at the same time. They have now solved this by defying their parents and copying one another.”
Quentin Crisp.

I have to admit when I first heard that there’s going to be a new show called Gossip Girl, I never really was interested.

I doubted if I was EVER gonna be watching the show. ha!

I saw the trailer and it looked like another O.C. or One Tree Hill. Cheesy, soap opera-ish type that promotes anorexia and underage sex. Bah!

Boy..was I wrong .

Yes my fellow T.V. junkies, I watch Gossip Girl now.

There’s just something about the Upper East Side socialites’ scandals and drama that keeps you at the edge of your seat. It kinda makes you want to see them suffer, doesn’t it? With their perfect hair, perfect clothes, perfect lives. Watching their drama, seem to make them more human…even if it’s just television. Television is an imitation of life so they say.
